ABOUT ME
I am Staria Manos CCH, RSHom(NA) a Classical Homeopathic
Practitioner specializing in chronic treatment. “Classical Homeopath” meaning
I do not use combination remedies, or methods of practice outside of the
natural laws
and principles first discovered by Samuel Hahnemann. This does not mean
I am stuck in the 1800’s. My education and experience over the
last 20 years provided me with a solid foundation of homeopathy. Since
graduation
I regularly take advanced educational courses and seminars. Homeopathy
is growing and currently making exciting advancements. I want to grow
as homeopathy grows.
I graduated from the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California
in June 2004. Receiving a diploma required 3 years of homeopathic education,
a
year of anatomy, pathology and physiology along with 250 hours of clinical
internship. I am one of only a few homeopaths in the San Diego area who
has completed all the educational and testing requirements to meet the
National
Standards for Homeopathic Certification in the United States (CCH). The
RSHom(NA) are credentials for homeopaths in all of North American and equivalent
to England’s standards for homeopaths. Many natural health practitioners
use homeopathy, to insure you are choosing a Professional Classical Homeopath
look for the above credentials. I currently practice in California under
the SB 577 law.
My first experience with homeopathy occurred in
1985. As a mother of a 2 year old with reoccurring ear infections, allergies
and insomnia I was
desperate to find something to help break the cycle of antibiotics and
lack of sleep. A friend told me about a local homeopath. Having a mindset
of only conventional treatment it was my desperation that over came my
fear of the unknown and I decided to try homeopathy. This proved to be
a decision that changed my life profoundly. My daughters’ ear infection
and pneumonia healed without the use of antibiotics. Within 45 days she
went from waking up every 1 ½ - 2 hours throughout the night to
sleeping all night! To this day she been treated homeopathically and not
needed another antibiotic. From that point on I started educating myself
with a ‘layman’s knowledge’ of homeopathy. I also started
treating the rest of my family, my dogs and some friends with their acute
illnesses. When I found myself in need of a career change, I chose something
I am passionate about…I became a Professional Homeopath. I have a
growing practice in Southern California with clients in many states.
